"Cry For Am Yisrael": Portrait of A Chillul Hashem

Reminder: When Jews in public positions who fancy themselves leaders, make bad decisions which adversely affect Am Yisrael, EVERY concerned Jew has an obligation to address the outrage and call out the culpable party. Failure to do so renders one a silent partner in chillul Hashem. I am sure that Moshe Feiglin has many merits. But the intention of this article is to show that he lacks the requisite abilities for Torah based Jewish leadership.

On Chanukah, G-d-fearing Jews recall the legacy of Maccabee heroism and Kiddush Hashem (sanctification of Hashem's Name). Those of us who are fortunate to live in Israel have opportunities to witness and partake of great things to sanctify G-d's Name. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true. The holiest place in the world is precisely where the greatest defilement of Torah values can occur. And because of our sins, this is commonplace today.

On December 5th, 2018, we witnessed such an outrage against Hashem, when an interfaith convention was held at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center. It was even worse. In an age of social media, the sin was live-streamed to the entire world. We cannot calculate the extent of this vulgar display. Who knows how many millions of evangelical Christians witnessed religious Jews and one prominent religious politician, participate in a public event with renowned missionaries?

In the aftermath of this egregious chillul Hashem, I listened closely and I heard tumbleweeds. The sound of silence, save for a few brave voices who addressed the event and were largely excoriated on Facebook by the kinds of people who support such events. The outrage of the Torah community was non-existent.

Moshe Feiglin of the religious "Zehut" party spoke at the event. In fairness, Feiglin wasn't the only religious Jew involved in this disgrace. Many of the names in attendance are heavily involved in such forbidden relationships. Ari Abramowitz spoke. So did Yisrael Medad. And Tuly Weisz of course, the Director of the notorious interfaith organization Israel365. Other posts will deal with these and other religious participants.

But this post is focused on Moshe Feiglin because he aspires to become Prime Minister of Israel one day. Forget about the likelihood of such an occurrence
(it will never happen). He wants to be a leader. So his participation is even more egregious since it shows the kind of leader he would be. A Jewish leader has to be willing and able to combat Esau and Ishmael. Again we deal with issues of spiritual and physical survival. Clearly, Feiglin doesn't understand the missionary problem in Israel and abroad, and his participation speaks volumes about the kind of weak-kneed approach he would take to evangelical missionaries. Frankly, I don't understand why Feiglin ever left the Likud.  If he was going to sleep with Esau, he could have always remained with Likud, where such affairs are commonplace, public, and acceptable. And they are so much better at it.

So much for Feiglin’s past claims that he opposed such unholy associations. Baloney. And where are all those die-hard Feiglinites today who insisted that Feiglin opposed these problematic relationships? Over the years, more than a few people castigated us when we called him out for his past dalliances with questionable personalities. Anyone remember Joel Bell? (JewishIsrael) At the time, his defenders rose up with righteous indignation to defend him. These were innocent mistakes, we were told. Feiglin himself assured people that he would be more careful in the future.

Furthermore, there were more recent issues relating to certain personalities who were chosen to be in Zehut. There was silence when we questioned the inclusion of those who are highly involved with halachically prohibited interfaith endeavors. Again we were told by certain Feiglinites that these issues were being addressed behind the scenes. What will they say now? Will they call for Feiglin's ouster from Zehut?
I haven't heard anything from any of his supporters since his shameful participation at the convention last week.

It all makes more sense now. The writing is on the wall and those with Torah based common-sense can read it. It is clear to me and to many others that Feiglin's Zehut Party is desperate for money. I think it is reasonable to assume that the Jewish well ran dry after a 14 year failed experiment with Likud. And in the aftermath of that debacle, Feiglin seems to have made a pragmatic decision to hold hands with evangelicals, since they are generous and their money never runs dry. They are always eager to share it with religious Jews. Only a man of principles and integrity would reject such pragmatic resources. The kind of person who might indeed be fit to lead.

Who is Doron Keidar? Here are some naked facts, without exhausting this issue.
Feiglin's attendance and participation speak volumes about his ravenous political ambitions. He is unfit for Jewish leadership. No sane Jew who truly gave a damn about these issues would participate in an event with Keidar. It also shows arrogance. He doesn't give a damn. He believes he can weather the resistance of the cadre of Jews who give a damn about these things.

Remember this when the next elections come around: This past Chanukah, on December 5th, 2018, Moshe Feiglin publicly chose Brother Esau as his partner.

A personal message for Moshe Feiglin:

Shame on you. When it was time to become a Maccabee you became a mouse. On the night of Chanukah when we recall the heroism of fighting Hellenism, you contaminated the oil and defiled the Temple at a missionary convention. I ask you one question, Moshe. What would the Kohen Gadol Matityahu have done were he within arm's reach of a rasha m'rusha such as Doron Keidar? Don't answer the question. Heaven forbid the walls may be listening.

Kipah or not, we Jews don't need such religious "Temple Mount" activists. On the contrary. Such a Mikdash would be unfit to enter. The oil would be contaminated.

An Evangelical "Chanukah" Event

WARNING!!!

Several Jewish attendees: Yisrael Medad, Ari Abramowitz, & Tuly Weisz
On Wednesday 12/5/18 of this coming Hanukah, the Menachem Begin Heritage Center is hosting a conference dealing with the Temple Mount, Temple Mount 18 Jerusalem Convention, organized by notorious missionary Doron Keider's "Cry For Zion" organization. Other prominent missionary heavyweights include Lars Enarson, Jon Enarson, and Aaron Murphy and Zac Waller of "Hayovel Ministry". While several Jews are listed as featured speakers (Yisrael Medad, Ari Abramowitz, Tuly Weisz), the majority are evangelical/messianic activists and leaders. No decent Jew should attend such an event. Please share and spread the alert about this chillul Hashem scheduled to take place on Chanukah.

Note: A warning was sent out earlier from the excellent Tomer Devora blog.  Please check out the link to read her important perspective.

Hayovel Ministry-The Poison Apple of Relational Evangelism (AUDIO)

Reflections on the infamous "Hayovel Ministry" in Israel. Despite patriarch Tommy Waller's insistence that he did teshuva (repentance) from what he now acknowledges was a missionary past, he exposes that he and his organization are still committed to evangelizing Jews. It is 2018, and Hayovel still associates with overt missionaries and sells messianic material on their online shop. Below are screenshots of a messianic daily planner, "Daily Bread" which can be purchased on their website. A cursory glance of the screenshots says everything you need to know. Given the naked agenda, it is clear that Jews who continue to defend Hayovel are either insane or liars. Only a fool denies what is evident to anyone with even a rudimentary mass of grey matter.

The article referenced in the audio: Anatomy of a Missionary

Screenshots from the "Daily Bread" planner:

One of many "goodies from the Hayovel shop. The fact that Hayovel's webpage features such an obvious messianic text reflects the degree which they no longer feel that they have to hide their beliefs and associations from their Jewish defenders. I doubt that most of Hayovel's Jewish supporters even glance at the website. Tragically, one wonders if the presence of a messianic journal would bother them. Personally I doubt it.More importantly, what does this say about Hayovel? Would any xtian organization truly opposed to missionizing sell such material?

Tommy Waller is crafty. He has a knack for duping Jews and the many silly pilgrims who enrich him and his family, under the guise of doing "the Lord's work." The ability to travel across the world with ease and to be able to purchase a million dollar plus complex in Missouri shows that this isn't merely about following what he believes to be the bible. Like many before him, he has discovered the golden goose of evangelical enterprises.

Consider how low these predators go to infiltrating the Jewish world. On the left we see an example of messianics usurping the holy blessing which traditional Jews make prior to studying Torah, followed by a messianic style blessing which invokes the name of "that man".

They dont care. Hayovel knows that anytime some heat is placed upon them, they need only send out Tommy Waller to make a video where he sheds crocodile tears for the Jewish people. Yet the presence of such ideological religious materials in their shop shows precisely where they stand. Nothing has changed. Hayovel has simply mastered the rhetoric of apologetics and explanations, after years of making crude mistakes. It also helps that "yeshivas" run by religious Jews feed them with the education of learning about Jewish mores, lifestyles, and distorted interpretations of Judaism; which aid them in their ability to speak a more kosher tongue when dealing with Jews.

The messianic blessing above is grotesque. Perverting our sacred blessings on Torah to include idolatry.

In the screenshot on the left, we see another favorite tactic. Messianics often cite and use standard texts used by traditional Jews. This allows them to throw out terms such as "Artscroll" and "chabad", and share the lingo of those whose lives are immersed in Jewish Torah study. This bizarre usurping and usage of conventional Jewish names and organizations reflect the attempt to normalize the pagan with contemporary Jewish experiences.

Let me be clear. Any Jew who associates with Hayovel or defends them will have to answer for their sins one day. Once upon a time, such a statement would be obvious since this kind of madness was impossible to fathom in supposed Torah circles. We live in lunatic times, where the ignoramuses do as they wish without fear of Rabbinic reprisals or being socially ostracized.

Kay Wilson: The Obligation To Ask Questions

No one should get a pass for an unsavory past, particularly when one denies her past, and shows zero indication of any changed ideology or repentance. For those who don't live under a rock, Kay Wilson has a lot of questions to answer. And to this day, she bullies those who do what any reasonable, self-respecting, Jew should do, when asked about her past, rather than respond with sensible answers. For those who aren't afraid to oppose the spineless, unprincipled, hasbara machine, start your research with the following articles and audios:
