Huckabee's Spiritual War With Am Yisrael

For those Jews who continue to defend the indefensible, the following video is yet another example of evangelical missionary Mike Huckabee showing his true face with the mask pulled back. If this is a friend, G-d save us from our friends.

"The best thing to happen for Israel would be that the gospel would take hold in Israelis and in Arabs, and that the common ground to bring peace in the Middle East, would not be something that diplomats would have a clue about, it would be something that would happen not at a peace table, but rather at the foot of the cross."- Mike Huckabee

Don't let his heimish southern charm fool you. He may appear charming on television when he spouts nice talking points in support of Israel. Yet only a fool (or worse) can watch these videos and conclude otherwise. And any Jew who associates with this menace, a man who proudly supports and endorses the spiritual jackals of "One For Israel" Ministry, should be ashamed of themselves. Huckabee is the spiritual equivalent of Hamas.

"Fake news!", one clown declared on Facebook when the following video of Huckabee's "One For Israel" endorsement resurfaced. Fake news? The video is featured on their own website, which painfully documents a commitment to evangelizing Jews, including elderly, vulnerable, holocaust survivors.

Another social media nitwit lied when he declared that Huckabee has since repudiated his endorsement when he "found out" about "One For Israel"'s purpose. Huckabee never repudiated anything. And precisely how could Huckabee be duped when his endorsement clearly states that he supports their work in bringing the gospel to Jews (and Arabs). Does the video above suggest that Huckabee was confused about their stated mission? It couldn't be more apparent.

Jews who continue to support Huckabee and wine and dine with him in Israel's heartland are not naive. There are other reasons for their behavior, all of them are shameful. If we had proper leadership today, such public associations would earn a Jew the punishment of excommunication. Shame on any Jew who associates with these malignant characters. Shame on those who abrogate halacha by participating in interfaith prayer and study sessions.

There is a price we pay for our misdeeds. No one gets away with anything in this world. The collaborators and enablers who empower these predators will one day pay the price for their sins. Perhaps not in this world, but surely in the next. Yet their sins are an infection for our people since they normalize the profane and humanize our spiritual enemies.

It wasn't that long ago when this kind of insanity would have been apparent to most decent Jews. The outrage would have been universal. Yet we live in insane times, and there are no true Torah leaders today. So while Huckabee encourages the evangelizing of Jews, Jews turn the other cheek and fress on sushi with him, while drinking wine from grapes picked by other equally committed missionaries. All in the name of hasbara. All while rationalizing their sins with distortions of Torah passages that would make any Southern Baptist proud.

Never before in history have we seen "Brother Esau" aided in his evangelizing efforts with the active collusion of religious Jews, prominent religious organizations and institutions, and even a handful of Rabbis who give a hechsher to this modern worship of Baal. And we haven't even seen the worst of it. Make no mistake. This is just the beginning.

Hashem help us.

Kay Wilson Revisited Once Again (Video)

Now and again, it becomes necessary to clarify some critical facts about "hasbara activist" Kay Wilson's unsettling past. For anyone with brains and integrity, an honest analysis of the facts reveals some very disturbing things, which too many Jews would like to remain buried. At the end of the day, the question is simple. If one is dishonest about one's past, how can we trust what they say in the present?

"Hayovel" 101-Introduction

JewishIsrael's excellent collection of articles, videos, and halachic statements from prominent Rabbis relating to the evangelical missionary organization "Hayovel". Essential reading for all concerned Jews who wish to understand the problem:

Ignoring The Research

Several years back, JewishIsrael published a disturbing article exposing Kay Wilson's messianic past. As with all their meticulously researched articles, I have been assured that JewishIsrael stands by everything in the article. Sadly, Kay's entry as a spokesperson into mainstream hasbara circles continued unabated, since few individuals had the courage to call her out. Because Kay is a public person, she must be accountable for her past. And those apologists who ignore the evidence and "assure" us with their sanctimonious declarations that they vetted her, expose themselves as frauds who seek hasbara popularity rather than truth. Today Kay is doted upon, and her ugly past remains ignored.

Those Frightened "Hasbara Queens" (Audio Post)

AUDIO PLAYER

Nathaniel Feingold recently wrote an excellent article which proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that Israel "activist" Kay Wilson has a messianic past. Since Ms. Wilson continues to lie about her past, she cannot be trusted in the present, and her inclusion in any Jewish advocacy is obscene. The fact that she was the victim of Arab terror doesn't give her a free pass, despite the desire of many Jews to give her one. It doesn't work that way in Judaism. Many of her supporters don't give a damn about her past, but many Jews are less honest. They refuse to research the readily available evidence which PROVES that she was messianic. And contrary to the false claims of some, she has not engaged in any form of teshuva. She denies what is documented. Insiders in Yaad La'Achim both past and present admitted that Wilson was definitely a messianic at one point. Some even noted that "pragmatism" and fear of her current popularity (rather than principle), is the reason they don't speak about her anymore.

These are my reflections on those timid career "hasbarites", keyboard warriors if you will, who lack intellectual courage. People like Damon Rosen and Ryan Bellerose who both consider themselves Kay's friends, and who continue to avoid the documentation. I am including a link to Feingold's article, as well as links to a well-written article from anti-missionary organization JewishIsrael, and a slideshow documenting some damning screenshots of Kay Wilson.

David Wilder's "Hayovel" Revelation

"The head Pharisee in Har Bracha approves of our work!"
Several years ago, noted Hebron activist David Wilder wrote an article where he correctly identified Tommy Waller and his "Hayovel" ministry as missionaries. After assessing the evidence and internalizing Waller's own damning words and actions, David Wilder was honest enough to reconsider his previous friendship and inform the public. It was evident to Wilder that Waller was bad news. The fact that David Wilder no longer comments on this issue today is unfortunate, but he has never retracted his words. And even if he did, what would that mean? Clearly, at the time of his admission, he was terribly disturbed by Waller and his terrible ruse.

Today we have so much more damning evidence on the Waller clan, and yet too many Jews continue to court and befriend this terrible missionary organization. These deluded types are easily duped by false smiles and assertions of brotherly love. Read about David Wilder's candid revelation in JewishIsrael's article: http://jewishisrael.ning.com/page/david-wilder-retracts-on-cufi-article

Here is an excerpt from Wilder's article:

"We spent quite a nice day together, and talked quite a bit. Tommy seemed somewhat upset about the fact that some Jews in Israel suspect him of missionary work, which he denied vigorously. I was a little taken aback by the seeming defensiveness of his comments, numerously repeated. I was also a little upset when he suggested that the dialogue he initiated, also be carried over into the ‘messianic Christian’ community in Israel . ‘Messianics’ are former Jews who have accepted jesus as a deity.  I told him that this wasn’t a very good idea; that these people are very dangerous, actively and deceptively attempting to convert Jews, and that any contact with them was to be rejected. He didn’t answer, but didn’t look overly happy with my comments.  I let it pass."

Commentary: The first notion that something was wrong. Most Hayovel supporters usually bury their heads in the sand at this point and they begin to make rationalizations.

"A few days ago I received information about ‘my friend’ Tommy Waller, that almost made me sick to my stomach. I found information directly tying him to David Ortiz, a ‘messianic jew’ living in Ariel (where Tommy and his family also live). Oritz’ son Ami was injured in a bomb blast, an attack allegedly perpetrated by Jack Teitel.  He was badly hurt, but recovered. Waller posted numerous ‘updates on Ami Oritz’ condition, as can be viewed here: http://goo.gl/EMeMS.  Note some of his terminology, which is frequently used by such ‘messianics.’

The Waller family is also prominently featured in Korean-made movie about Ortiz called ‘Restoration,’ and extremely anti-Israel, anti-Semitic feature, parts of which can be viewed here: http://goo.gl/60m1N."

Commentary: Wilder's gut reaction receives confirmation. But there was more to come.

"However, the icing on the cake is from a movie about the Waller family, that they helped produce. Called, ‘a journey home,’ about 35 minutes into the film: Tommy’s son Brayden says: “we work in their (Israeli’s) fields, we visit in their homes, and we pray that god will use us to have an impact on families we come to know and love in Israel …”
Tommy: “For us, sharing the gospel is not only verbal, it has an action to it. It’s based on relationships, that’s the impact I think we can have on the nation of Israel . It’s just one family at a time or one person at a time. As we’re working with these people, we’ll be able to share with them this jesus that we know, and it’s not going to be something that, ok, we don’t really trust you guys. They’re going to know us.”

This is an extremely accurate description of what the Wallers have been doing here in Israel : building up personal relationships with people, one at a time, earning their trust. They do it quite well. They fooled me!"

An excerpt from the above referenced documentary "A Journey Home":

Shouldn't Yishai Fleisher have a conversation with Wilder?
In light of the evidence, we have another troubling issue to contend with. Zehut's Moshe Feiglin needs to explain to the public why Hayovel supporter Yishai Fleisher is running for a slot in his party. And I don't want to hear about freedom of expression and libertarian values. The Torah understood free will better than any proponent of libertarianism. And no person involved with evangelicals and missionaries should be associated in any way with a Jewish party. Fleisher can rant all day and troll this blog ( he has) about how he is "more anti-missionary than we are". The facts remain facts and if Fleisher won't be honest, Moshe Feiglin wil have to address the issue eventually. Because there is a small army of Jews who don't give a damn that the craven masses are afraid to stand up to a handful of self-serving Jewish bullies whose actions (whether misguided or not) are endangering the Jewish people. I would venture to say that this is a greater issue than the legalization of cannabis in Israel.

Some final questions for Moshe Feiglin, or anyone qualified to speak on behalf of Zehut:

  • What is your position on interacting with evangelicals, missionaries, messianic movements and the like? Do you approve of taking money and forming alliances with such groups? What Rabbi or Torah figure do you refer to when assessing these issues as it relates to your organization?
  • What is your position on Hayovel? Does Zehut support their efforts? If not, how can you reconcile Yishai Fleisher's involvement in the party? Fleisher also has associations with Mike Huckabee (who supports the missionary organization "One For Israel") and was even photographed with notorious missionary Mike Isley.
  • Why is the issue of interfaith relations, dialogue, and associations not addressed prominently in Zehut's platform?

  • Why are there internal rumblings (we are aware of them) in Zehut over this issue, and why should these murmurings not concern Jews who might consider voting for Zehut?
Please answer these pressing questions, Moshe. Because we will continue to ask them. Rosh Hashana draws near. And these troubling problems are the spiritual equivalent of the Arab/Islamic threat. The Jewish soul is in danger in Eretz Yisrael. Hayovel is a primary player on the scene today, and they have tentacles in the Shomron. I would hope that Zehut doesn't decide to ignore and whitewash these issues, and thus perpetuate the scourge of corruption involving Jewish collusion with missionaries.

When Blessings Become A Curse

H/T Tomer Devorah for sharing this video: Portrait of "Hayovel" missionaries perverting our sacred Sukkot with pagan mockery, all in the worship of their man-god. A grotesque spectacle of xtian women co-opting the dress and head-coverings of religious Jewish women. Bearded men waving lulavim, flailing them about with fervor, as they sing their songs of praise for idol worship. All under the confines of a Sukkah, nestled in the confines of the closed religious community of Har Bracha. Funny, how the Har Bracha website makes no mention of missionaries dwelling in the yishuv.

Pagans love garish, outlandish, spectacles. This immediately comes to mind:

  • How many religious Jews in Israel and abroad know what is happening in Har Bracha and the greater Shomron region, as evangelical missionaries plant their roots and work on forming "relationships" with Jews?
  • How many religious rabbis are aware of this sin? How many open their mouths and scream out in outrage?
  • Does anyone really give a damn?
Who would have thought such a thing possible?

As always, we ask the question: Who let them in? In this particular case, the town's Rabbi, R Eliezer Melamed, gave Hayovel permission (and his blessing!) with his radical halachic psak (hebrew original) English version). JewishIsrael's Rabbi Sholom Gold's excellent response can be found here: http://jewishisrael.ning.com/profiles/blogs/jumping-the-geula-gun-a-response-by-rabbi-sholom-gold-to-rabbi-el

Daati-Leumi Gone Wild? Or are they just plain mad?

Shabbtai Tzvi would have a field day with this unbridled messianic fervor, which has much more in common with xtianity than anything remotely Jewish. Spitting on G-d's miracles and the miracle of Eretz Yisrael. Brother Esau sure knew what he was doing when he put down his bloody sword and put on his cowboy hat. All he needed were unscrupulous Jews, and a big sack of gelt

And then the enablers of these evangelical asps have the nerve to complain to us about our website featuring a "Wall of Shame"! What would King David and Hezekiah have done with Hayovel, and how would they address those Jews who gave them a foothold in the land? What about Elijah? The early Chashmonaim? What would the Gaonim, Rishonim, and Acharonim say? This is an unprecedented chillul Hashem in Jewish history. Where in our history did religious Jews allow missionaries to set up shop in a Torah community?

"They aren't missionaries, our detractors claim." They need to open their damn eyes already. Stop playing games with us. The evidence is overwhelming. Hayovel are spiritual predators.

"Wall of Shame"? Appropriately titled. And to those who have a problem with it, if the shoe fits, hit yourself in the head with it. The Wall of Shame is for those with zero shame. Zehut's new golden-boy Yishai Fleischer recently came on this blog to hurl insults and lies, without addressing the issues we raise. Evidently, he would rather rail against JewishIsrael and others (including us) who call out everyone who has a hand in this sin.

Yishai Fleischer seems upset. Perhaps he deemed the #8 slot in the Zehut primaries to be an insult? Perhaps he wants to skate from his associations? Perhaps he is unhappy that there are cracks in Zehut's camp? In any event if Zehut's Moshe Feiglin wants to prove that he cares more about the missionary issue in Israel than the ever pressing issue of cannabis legalization, the public needs to know why a supporter of Hayovel and Mike Huckabee is even in the party.

As I always say, it isn't personal, It's just halacha. I am pleased to hear from inside sources that there is discontent in the ranks of Zehut's followers. Some are wondering the very same thing. And many are bothered. It won't go away by itself. And perhaps the Zehut stage will be another vehicle to expose the evil Waller family and their nefarious agenda.

May the names and memories of the Waller family be obliterated.
