The truth about "Hayovel Ministry", a missionary organization that successfully infiltrated Israel's heartland with the aid of Jews. "Hayovel" represents the enemy within Israel; with a stated desire to plant roots in Israel, usurp and corrupt our exclusive covenant with Hashem, and blur the distinction between Jew and Gentile. Their end goal is Jewish acceptance of Jesus and conversion. Our blog is committed to exposing Hayovel and other missionaries, in Israel or abroad.

Open your Mouth!
The latest audio post from "Stop Hayovel". A call for decent Jews to open their mouths and expose the outrageous incursion of evangelical missionaries into Israel with the aid and support of fellow Jews.
There are many on social media who purport to give a damn about this critical issue, but they are inconsistent and their efforts are weak. They selectively target some while giving a pass to others, whether it be organizations or individual personalities.
If the problem bothers you do something about it. Explore these issues. Research and find out what is going on. And when you see what will be apparent to any reasonably intelligent person with integrity, make the right decision. Open your mouths and shout the Torah truth.

"Hayovel" 101-Introduction
Friday, February 23, 2018
Our Orphaned Generation
The following meme was recently circulated on Facebook, following the outrageous spectacle of religious Jews "studying Torah" with evangelical missionaries in the Knesset. Fortunately, the meme's simple message was right on target and it was perceived as such by many sensible Jews who shared it widely on social media. Sadly I cannot give kudos to the anonymous person who created it, but I can share it and provide some additional context. I feel confident that the meme's creator would agree with my sentiments.
In the past, Yishai Fleisher and a host of other self-appointed religious Jewish advocates slandered those of at the “Stop Hayovel” blog who fight the missionary menace. Our crime? We pointed out their public associations with evangelical missionaries. We made no accusations that THEY themselves are missionaries, but we correctly pointed out that they are aligned with some of the most dangerous evangelical missionaries on the scene today.
There is no choice for any Jew who is concerned with this menace. We cannot remain silent while these outrages persist. So we must be aggressive and uncompromising as we publicize ugly truths. With this in mind, it must be said that the recent “Torah session” in the Knesset with notorious missionaries constituted an unprecedented chillul HaShem.
Fact: Hayovel are a missionary organization. We have documented it ad nauseum for years now, along with other activists, who’ve documented Hayovel’s clever journey to plant roots in Israel. The evidence is overwhelming.
Fact: Dr. Jim Garlow and Rosemary Schindler of the missionary Skyline Church are spiritual predators.
To be blunt. This was indeed a “Torah” session with missionaries. This was worse than mere interfaith-dialogue, which is halachically prohibited. Yet Fleisher boasts and speaks of dreams in his Facebook post (see image on left). His dream is our nightmare. Research Skyline Church, Dr. Jim Garlow and Rosemary Schindler, yemach sh’mam v’zichram.
This abomination in the Knesset was nothing less than the fusion of baal with Torah.Something to tear kriya over, and not something to celebrate. Something against Torah and sanity. Something which trampled on Rav Soloveitchik’s ironclad ruling opposing interfaith dialogue, as found in his classic essay “Confrontation”.
Funny how Fleisher mentions the “Schindler Society” but neglects to mention their leadership of the missionary Skyline Church, which is merged with a messianic “Jewish” congregation targeting Jews. The Tree of Life Messianic Jewish Congregation.
- When will good Jews, both the religious leadership and laity, speak out against this outrage?
- When will religious Jewry unite with an uncompromising voice of outrage, on an issue which should resonate across the religious continuum?
- And when will those Jews who have the chutzpah to flaunt these associations, be excoriated and ostracized for this egregious behavior?
Where There Are No Men
Indeed there are no men, or very few of them, fighting this battle. There are few women also, but in a battle where only few fight, men are outnumbered by a handful of women. The silence of the Nation is staggering. The willful blindness of others a thing to weep over. Most tragic of all are those good Jews who agree with us, but are afraid to open their mouths. Sadly, this includes some very prestigious Torah scholars.
StandWithUs? The clarion call of hasbara impotence. I disagree.
- Don’t stand with those who enable and empower our physical and spiritual enemies with weak-kneed shtadlanus.
- Don’t stand with those who wouldn’t know how to defeat the Arab/Islamic savages if the solution hit them in the head.
- Don’t stand with those who align with our spiritual enemies out of fear of Islam and Arabs and a desperate need for friends. Even those of a false persuasion.
- Start by sharing this post and getting involved in educating Jews about what is occurring with our tax dollars in the Knesset, and the general spiritual violence occurring in the vineyards of Samaria.
- Let it be known that the most recent phenomenon of relational evangelism throughout Eretz Yisrael is being aided and abetted with the help of religious Jews. Educate yourselves and spread the message. Inform your local Rabbis and religious leaders. Demand that they get involved.
- Above all, name names! This is not an amorphous vague faceless sin. The active players are often well-known, their personal involvement a badge of honor for them. If they wish to be known, let the public know the full story. A terrible tale of Jewish complicity and collusion with today’s clever evangelical missionaries.

IsraellyCool's "Big" Stand: Part II
Here is the article which triggered the ever-irritable Lange. As an aside, Israellycool is about as "right-wing" as StandWithUs, and as nebbish as same:IsraellyCool's "Big" Stand
*Note to the reader: Notice how I originally pointed out Israellycool’s tendency to show greater anger at us than missionary Hananya Naftali. I am not a prophet, but I predicted Lange's reaction, because hasbara is ridiculously predictable.

No Place For Slander (AUDIO)
Most of these misguided Jews either naively believe that these people and groups are harmless, or have the arrogance to believe that they can play a dangerous game of "strange bedfellows". Some hasbara types are indeed corrupt, and more than a few are corrupt in terms of their warped Torah perspective. One often hears the refrain of "good intentions". Good intentions? Good intentions have destroyed better men than these.
Our detractors glibly hurl the charge of "slander/libel" at my colleagues and I, whenever we tackle these troubling issues. They avoid addressing our questions or the evidence we produce. Their usage of the term renders them guilty of the crime themselves, since none of us are involved in any form of slander. Nor are we attacking "good Jews", which is a clever way to evade responsibility for one's actions. We are simply calling out public Jewish personalities for what we believe are dangerous alliances with the enemies of Am Yisrael. No personal animus fuels us, nor is there any personal gain from addressing these upsetting issues. On the contrary. Speaking unpleasant truths usually comes at a cost.
I regularly use the term "enemies" to paint evangelicals, precisely how a proper Jewish approach would deem any group harmful to us. Evangelicals are indeed our enemies, and no amount of "Israeli" support can detract from their insidious spiritual warfare on our sacred Torah. Stating truth and exposing the irresponsible public behavior of public people does not constitute slander/libel.
Once upon a time, religious Jews recognized that Esau's kiss was the kiss of spiritual death. Yet today, we have "religious" Jews meeting and greeting, and befriending and breaking bread with these vipers. Teaching Torah to missionaries. Giving tours to messianic congregations in Israel. Giving them a foothold in Jewish communities on Jewish land that should be used to house other Jews.
I choose to not remain silent, regardless of the threats of bullies. If I am engaged in slander or libel, the logical thing to do would be to hire a lawyer and serve me my papers. If nothing else, have the attorney clarify the precise nature of the supposed libel/slander, and if I find your arguments convincing or I recognize errors on my part, I will publicly apologize and make the appropriate corrections. I have never been afraid to apologize if I am wrong. But just to hurl the terms around doesn't make it so, even if one hopes that something will stick.
Contrary to the lie that many Jews espouse, evangelicals aren't our "brothers" or righteous gentiles. They have the same agenda that their forebears had hundreds of years ago. But they are wiser today and they've discovered clever ways to earn the confidence of Jews. Consider the fact that "Hayovel", a veritable missionary organization, is well-entrenched in Har Bracha today, with the blessings of the town's rabbi. Would such a thing have even been possible twenty years ago? Jews argue that they are friends, and yet they arrogantly hawk messianic bibles on their website. After Tommy Waller's supposed and much heralded recent "repentance"!
Jews can ignore this perversion as long as they wish. At the end of the day, chareidi, daati leumi, and chiloni will all pay the price. One day soon, we will all suffer the consequence of these dangerous alliances.

When Blessings Become A Curse
H/T Tomer Devorah for sharing this video: Portrait of "Hayovel" missionaries perverting our sacred Sukkot with pagan mockery, all in the worship of their man-god. A grotesque spectacle of xtian women co-opting the dress and head-coverings of religious Jewish women. Bearded men waving lulavim, flailing them about with fervor, as they sing their songs of praise for idol worship. All under the confines of a Sukkah, nestled in the confines of the closed religious community of Har Bracha. Funny, how the Har Bracha website makes no mention of missionaries dwelling in the yishuv.
Pagans love garish, outlandish, spectacles. This immediately comes to mind:
- How many religious Jews in Israel and abroad know what is happening in Har Bracha and the greater Shomron region, as evangelical missionaries plant their roots and work on forming "relationships" with Jews?
- How many religious rabbis are aware of this sin? How many open their mouths and scream out in outrage?
- Does anyone really give a damn?
"They aren't missionaries, our detractors claim." They need to open their damn eyes already. Stop playing games with us. The evidence is overwhelming. Hayovel are spiritual predators.
Yishai Fleischer seems upset. Perhaps he deemed the #8 slot in the Zehut primaries to be an insult? Perhaps he wants to skate from his associations? Perhaps he is unhappy that there are cracks in Zehut's camp? In any event if Zehut's Moshe Feiglin wants to prove that he cares more about the missionary issue in Israel than the ever pressing issue of cannabis legalization, the public needs to know why a supporter of Hayovel and Mike Huckabee is even in the party.
As I always say, it isn't personal, It's just halacha. I am pleased to hear from inside sources that there is discontent in the ranks of Zehut's followers. Some are wondering the very same thing. And many are bothered. It won't go away by itself. And perhaps the Zehut stage will be another vehicle to expose the evil Waller family and their nefarious agenda.
May the names and memories of the Waller family be obliterated.

The Source of the Missionary Problem
I write this in the hope of bringing clarity to the issue of missionaries in Israel.
As a consequence of the State of Israel's tolerance and support of foreign religions, we have the inevitable result of missionizing. It is unreasonable to assume that when we allow foreign worship to flourish in Israel, that other negative aspects of idolatry won't appear. Those who tolerate and promote avoda zara in what they deem to be a democratic State of Israel, are responsible for aiding to the missionary problem. Because the support of idolatry lays the foundation for missionaries to succeed.
A few basic truisms, from a Torah perspective:
- Halacha opposes the existence of Churches in Israel.
- Interfaith prayer and worship endanger Israel.
- CUFI, John Hagee's powerful evangelical organization is a menace.
- The missionary "volunteer" organization "Hayovel" is an unprecedented platform for missionizing in Israel.
- Those Jews who promote the fictitious "roots" of avoda zara are harming the Jewish people.
The latter tactic teaches our enemies how to interact with Jews. The most successful missionaries adapted throughout the generations, at times even giving the false impression that they rejected xtianity. Some of these "evolutions"/movements can be seen today in the following groups/ideologies:
- Messianics
- Two House
- Ephraimites
- Nazerene Judaism
Fact: The "Modern xtian friends of Israel" are just a new version of missionary on today's scene. Because of their clever charade, Jews work with them. The main reason we have this problem is because of Israeli hasbara (PR). This is precisely why organizations like CUFI and Hayovel and so many others are cozy with religious zionists like Likud MK,Yehuda Glick, David "HaIvri"Axelrod, Jeremy Gimpel, Ari Abramowitz, Rabbi Eliezer Melamed, Yishai Fliesher and so many others who've partnered with missionary organizations.
Fact: Mainstream organizations like StandWithUs support CUFI and have even featured their own missionary spokespeople like notorious Youtube personality, Hananyah Naftali. Naturally, hasbara darling Kay Wilson's skates with ease away from her messianic pasdt, and if you raise the documented issue, religious Jews will attack you! Prominent hasbara advocates such as Dennis Prager take a similar stand, as he shows with his many evangelical associations.
Fact: Our own Prime minister(Benjamin Netanyahu) considers John Hagee (founder and leader of CUFI ) a good friend to Israel. The Likud has been in bed with evangelicals for years. Likud leader, MK Yehuda Glick and Zehut's "Golden Boy" Yishai Fliesher openly endorse and support Hayovel.
Today's most powerful missionary organizations work under the umbrella of hasbara. Sadly, most Jews who oppose missionaries have no understanding that their support of avoda zara in Israel inevitably leads to empowering missionaries. And those who pick and choose which form of xtianity is acceptable, unknowingly align themselves with the enemy. There is no free pass. If you do not understand that converting a Jew is just one aspect of missionizing than you have no understanding of the real problem.
Example: 99% of hunting involves NOT shooting an animal! A hunter first studies his prey. A hunter uses camouflage and concealment principles. Consider this question: If a hunter doesn't have an opportunity to shoot an animal is he not a hunter? Preying on Jewish souls requires similar measures. Without preparation and effort, the opportunities will be limited, consigned to the aggressive measure of the textbook street missionary.
Many of us who truly understand the dynamics and nuance of this threat are often accused of, "baseless hatred" and "lashon hara". Those who throw out these accusations are the same Jews who would rationalize xianity in Israel, and provide efforts for these hunters to prosper. To our detractors I say the following: You don't have to fight with us, nor do you have to support or even like us, but when you try to undermine us you are messing with the bull. You show yourself to be corrupt, naive, or both. Because as we show time and again, here at Hayovel: The Enemy Within we document everything and we only deal in truth, however unpopular that may be. Even our sarcasm and unfortunate need to highlight the tragic and the absurd has a bitter point.

Harvesters of Souls
With the growth of Har Bracha's christian missionary population, they might want to consider new slogans to cater to their growing demographic. Here are a few of my own. Top Ten Reasons to come to Har Bracha:
"So come to Har Bracha....
- because its not just for Jews anymore! (Focuses on the changing neighborhood.)
- because the father is coming and there are too many Jews here! (Emphasizes a call to action, letting the neighbors know that there are opportunities for more lebensraum, and a chance to add diversity to the yishuv.)
- because the Don Finto wing to the yeshiva is almost completed! (State of the art modern renovations.)
- its a nice place to work on your "Jew skills". (Emphasizes communal respect for adopting Jewish customs without looking like an absolute extra from "The Life of Brian".)
- because our greedy vintner Pharisees need you. (More controversial tactic, using anti-Semitic motifs to give the harvesters some colorful villains)
- because Tommy Waller spoke to Rabbi Melamed and he said that he wasn't a missionary anymore. (Very convincing as long as you don't read Hayovel's Facebook page or go touring with them in America.)
- because David Haivri Axelrod, that renowned expert on christian theology assures us that Hayovel aren't missionaries, and that we should ignore the evidence. (As long as one is a committed hasbarite, and one accepts the assurance that a man whose claim to fame is his christian following on Twitter knows anything about evangelism; this might work.)
- where you can ogle pretty shiksa volunteers, and know one is the wiser. You are merely supervising the harvest. (Downside: The wives may not like it.)
- a happy community for believers of the prophecies. (See what I did there? A universal message.)
- because it's not just about the money! (Assurances that its not just a call for free labor.)
