Hayovel Ministry-The Poison Apple of Relational Evangelism (AUDIO)

Reflections on the infamous "Hayovel Ministry" in Israel. Despite patriarch Tommy Waller's insistence that he did teshuva (repentance) from what he now acknowledges was a missionary past, he exposes that he and his organization are still committed to evangelizing Jews. It is 2018, and Hayovel still associates with overt missionaries and sells messianic material on their online shop. Below are screenshots of a messianic daily planner, "Daily Bread" which can be purchased on their website. A cursory glance of the screenshots says everything you need to know. Given the naked agenda, it is clear that Jews who continue to defend Hayovel are either insane or liars. Only a fool denies what is evident to anyone with even a rudimentary mass of grey matter.

The article referenced in the audio: Anatomy of a Missionary

Screenshots from the "Daily Bread" planner:

One of many "goodies from the Hayovel shop. The fact that Hayovel's webpage features such an obvious messianic text reflects the degree which they no longer feel that they have to hide their beliefs and associations from their Jewish defenders. I doubt that most of Hayovel's Jewish supporters even glance at the website. Tragically, one wonders if the presence of a messianic journal would bother them. Personally I doubt it.More importantly, what does this say about Hayovel? Would any xtian organization truly opposed to missionizing sell such material?

Tommy Waller is crafty. He has a knack for duping Jews and the many silly pilgrims who enrich him and his family, under the guise of doing "the Lord's work." The ability to travel across the world with ease and to be able to purchase a million dollar plus complex in Missouri shows that this isn't merely about following what he believes to be the bible. Like many before him, he has discovered the golden goose of evangelical enterprises.

Consider how low these predators go to infiltrating the Jewish world. On the left we see an example of messianics usurping the holy blessing which traditional Jews make prior to studying Torah, followed by a messianic style blessing which invokes the name of "that man".

They dont care. Hayovel knows that anytime some heat is placed upon them, they need only send out Tommy Waller to make a video where he sheds crocodile tears for the Jewish people. Yet the presence of such ideological religious materials in their shop shows precisely where they stand. Nothing has changed. Hayovel has simply mastered the rhetoric of apologetics and explanations, after years of making crude mistakes. It also helps that "yeshivas" run by religious Jews feed them with the education of learning about Jewish mores, lifestyles, and distorted interpretations of Judaism; which aid them in their ability to speak a more kosher tongue when dealing with Jews.

The messianic blessing above is grotesque. Perverting our sacred blessings on Torah to include idolatry.

In the screenshot on the left, we see another favorite tactic. Messianics often cite and use standard texts used by traditional Jews. This allows them to throw out terms such as "Artscroll" and "chabad", and share the lingo of those whose lives are immersed in Jewish Torah study. This bizarre usurping and usage of conventional Jewish names and organizations reflect the attempt to normalize the pagan with contemporary Jewish experiences.

Let me be clear. Any Jew who associates with Hayovel or defends them will have to answer for their sins one day. Once upon a time, such a statement would be obvious since this kind of madness was impossible to fathom in supposed Torah circles. We live in lunatic times, where the ignoramuses do as they wish without fear of Rabbinic reprisals or being socially ostracized.

"Zehut": Soft On Missionaries?

Who Let Them In? Part I (Podcast)

My reflections on the sudden feigned concern about missionaries, coming from certain "hasbara" circles. Ironically, some of the loudest voices come from those self-appointed religious voices who collaborated with evangelical missionaries. A foundation for a series of future audio posts providing further analysis. Warning: No quarter will be given. Part II will address Moshe Feiglin's (Zehut party) April article which addressed this outrage. My problem with Feiglin is one of intellectual honesty and integrity. Is Zehut's house really clean itself? https://www.zehutinternational.com/single-post/2018/04/27/PM’s-Serious-Identity-Blunder

When Blessings Become A Curse

H/T Tomer Devorah for sharing this video: Portrait of "Hayovel" missionaries perverting our sacred Sukkot with pagan mockery, all in the worship of their man-god. A grotesque spectacle of xtian women co-opting the dress and head-coverings of religious Jewish women. Bearded men waving lulavim, flailing them about with fervor, as they sing their songs of praise for idol worship. All under the confines of a Sukkah, nestled in the confines of the closed religious community of Har Bracha. Funny, how the Har Bracha website makes no mention of missionaries dwelling in the yishuv.

Pagans love garish, outlandish, spectacles. This immediately comes to mind:

  • How many religious Jews in Israel and abroad know what is happening in Har Bracha and the greater Shomron region, as evangelical missionaries plant their roots and work on forming "relationships" with Jews?
  • How many religious rabbis are aware of this sin? How many open their mouths and scream out in outrage?
  • Does anyone really give a damn?
Who would have thought such a thing possible?

As always, we ask the question: Who let them in? In this particular case, the town's Rabbi, R Eliezer Melamed, gave Hayovel permission (and his blessing!) with his radical halachic psak (hebrew original) English version). JewishIsrael's Rabbi Sholom Gold's excellent response can be found here: http://jewishisrael.ning.com/profiles/blogs/jumping-the-geula-gun-a-response-by-rabbi-sholom-gold-to-rabbi-el

Daati-Leumi Gone Wild? Or are they just plain mad?

Shabbtai Tzvi would have a field day with this unbridled messianic fervor, which has much more in common with xtianity than anything remotely Jewish. Spitting on G-d's miracles and the miracle of Eretz Yisrael. Brother Esau sure knew what he was doing when he put down his bloody sword and put on his cowboy hat. All he needed were unscrupulous Jews, and a big sack of gelt

And then the enablers of these evangelical asps have the nerve to complain to us about our website featuring a "Wall of Shame"! What would King David and Hezekiah have done with Hayovel, and how would they address those Jews who gave them a foothold in the land? What about Elijah? The early Chashmonaim? What would the Gaonim, Rishonim, and Acharonim say? This is an unprecedented chillul Hashem in Jewish history. Where in our history did religious Jews allow missionaries to set up shop in a Torah community?

"They aren't missionaries, our detractors claim." They need to open their damn eyes already. Stop playing games with us. The evidence is overwhelming. Hayovel are spiritual predators.

"Wall of Shame"? Appropriately titled. And to those who have a problem with it, if the shoe fits, hit yourself in the head with it. The Wall of Shame is for those with zero shame. Zehut's new golden-boy Yishai Fleischer recently came on this blog to hurl insults and lies, without addressing the issues we raise. Evidently, he would rather rail against JewishIsrael and others (including us) who call out everyone who has a hand in this sin.

Yishai Fleischer seems upset. Perhaps he deemed the #8 slot in the Zehut primaries to be an insult? Perhaps he wants to skate from his associations? Perhaps he is unhappy that there are cracks in Zehut's camp? In any event if Zehut's Moshe Feiglin wants to prove that he cares more about the missionary issue in Israel than the ever pressing issue of cannabis legalization, the public needs to know why a supporter of Hayovel and Mike Huckabee is even in the party.

As I always say, it isn't personal, It's just halacha. I am pleased to hear from inside sources that there is discontent in the ranks of Zehut's followers. Some are wondering the very same thing. And many are bothered. It won't go away by itself. And perhaps the Zehut stage will be another vehicle to expose the evil Waller family and their nefarious agenda.

May the names and memories of the Waller family be obliterated.

Har Bracha: Pagans Welcome

Possible promotional options for Har Bracha, the religious yishuv in the Shomron where Hayovel's evangelical missionaries keep as their home base in Israel. All with the blessings of the town's rabbi and the yeshiva's Rosh HaYeshiva, Eliezer Melamed. You can't make this stuff up. Truth is indeed stranger (and scarier) than fiction.

Snakes In The Grass

Who is that bearded man, you ask? Why that's David "the Hebrew" Axelrod, back when he still kept his beard and peyot. Evidently an allergy or something compelled him in his mid-middle age years to suddenly get rid of it. I suspect it was a different kind of allergy.

In any event, this 2013 video features a shameless Axelrod calling for more evangelical missionaries to come for the "harvest". Since then, David has never let up and today he continues to facilitate our spiritual enemies by teaching missionaries "Torah" at Root Source. He is one of many Jews who feed from the hand of Brother Esau, and teach them the kinds of tools, mores, and perspectives that allow them to entrench themselves in Jewish life under the pretext of discovering "Jewish roots" of their faith.

There are many words to describe people like David Haivri. Ironically, many of those who defend him today, would have excoriated him some 15 years ago when he still identified with Rabbi Meir Kahane's teachings. Having betrayed those beliefs, they now view him as a friend.

Organizations such as Root Source mastered the art of using unprincipled, ignorant, naive, shameless, and corrupt individuals to further their goals. As dangerous as "Jews for Jesus" is, they aren't a fraction of the threat that groups such as Hayovel and Root Source present to the Jewish community. Jews for Jesus doesn't have a headquarters in Har Bracha and the blessing of the town's rabbi. Such a thing would never be. Nor do they have a staff of Jews acting as teachers to missionaries, as Root Source can boast, so that they can teach these predators more tricks to be more comfortable with Jews.

It's time for people to learn that people like David Haivri are not noble Jews fostering relationships with x-tians. These "x-tian friends" as they would have it, are missionaries, whose agenda is naked.

How many videos do we have to post of Hayovel showing their true agenda, until Jews open their eyes?

How many screenshots of Hayovel's connections with messianic organizations do we have to document, even after Tommy Waller's supposed 2011 teshuva process?

With all the evidence out there, anyone who defends these unscrupulous sorts will have to answer to G-d one day. Remember, even activist David Wilder from Hebron (whose views on evangelical relations are certainly different from the ones we espouse) was honest enough to admit his mistake, and declare that Tommy Waller, Hayovel's smiling, bearded, patriarch; was indeed a missionary: http://jewishisrael.ning.com/page/david-wilder-retracts-on-cufi-article

Those of us who contribute to this forum don't hate goyim, G-d forbid. We don't hate all x-tians as our Jewish detractors falsely claim, even if we believe that according to Torah, all gentiles need to embark on the true path of the Noachide Laws which necessitates a rejection of their current beliefs. These xtians are missionaries and such individuals we do indeed hate. Soul snatchers with smiles. Snakes in the grass. And so, we are unrelenting in exposing them. Along with their Jewish enablers.

Collaboration with the enemy is an egregious sin.

Lo Techanem

In a nutshell, this is what is wrong with our generation. The community of Har Bracha is the site of an astounding chillul Hashem for several years now. Rabbi Eliezer Melamed has enabled missionaries and given them a foothold in Israel, by giving them a foothold in his own community. Mind-boggling! People need to isolate and expose this yishuv as if it were a leper colony. Hayovel are missionaries!

Rabbi Melamed, ever heard of a prohibition dealing with this precise issue? Lo Techanem perhaps? For more on this biblical prohibition check out the following video by Harav Yehudah Richter.

Hayovel. If it barks like a dog and bites like one......

Harvesters of Souls

With the growth of Har Bracha's christian missionary population, they might want to consider new slogans to cater to their growing demographic. Here are a few of my own. Top Ten Reasons to come to Har Bracha:

"So come to Har Bracha....

  • because its not just for Jews anymore! (Focuses on the changing neighborhood.)
  • because the father is coming and there are too many Jews here! (Emphasizes a call to action, letting the neighbors know that there are opportunities for more lebensraum, and a chance to add diversity to the yishuv.)
  • because the Don Finto wing to the yeshiva is almost completed! (State of the art modern renovations.)
  • its a nice place to work on your "Jew skills". (Emphasizes communal respect for adopting Jewish customs without looking like an absolute extra from "The Life of Brian".)
  • because our greedy vintner Pharisees need you. (More controversial tactic, using anti-Semitic motifs to give the harvesters some colorful villains)
  • because Tommy Waller spoke to Rabbi Melamed and he said that he wasn't a missionary anymore. (Very convincing as long as you don't read Hayovel's Facebook page or go touring with them in America.)
  • because David Haivri Axelrod, that renowned expert on christian theology assures us that Hayovel aren't missionaries, and that we should ignore the evidence. (As long as one is a committed hasbarite, and  one accepts the assurance that a man whose claim to fame is his christian following on Twitter knows anything about evangelism; this might work.)
  • where you can ogle pretty shiksa volunteers, and know one is the wiser. You are merely supervising the harvest. (Downside: The wives may not like it.)
  • a happy community for believers of the prophecies. (See what I did there? A universal message.)
  • because it's not just about the money! (Assurances that its not just a call for free labor.)
In the interest of accuracy, I cannot confirm whether this is a photograph from Har Bracha or Sumerisle. An argument can be made for both.

What the hell is going on in the Shomron? And how in G-d's name did Rabbi Melamed allow missionaries to move into cottages in his yishuv? An unpardonable sin, the likes we have never seen before. A stumbling block with his official hechsher on it.

Daati Leumi messianism run amuck. No other way to sugarcoat it. The result of abandoning rational halacha and running with mysticism. Today they read the holy words of the Neviim, through the corrupt pagan lens of the evangelical.

Behold, Har Bracha!

Har Bracha, 2017- Where pagans roam the fields and Jews enjoy forbidden fruit. Consider this. A Torah Jew who opposes avodah zara's incursion in a Jewish community would be refused admission. On the other hand, Tommy Waller and his team of idolatrous missionaries can set up shop with the blessing of the yishuv's rabbi.

Esau Rising!

Esau Rising!

The Shomron: "Hayovel" Country

The spiritual ghouls of "Hayovel" didn't just set up shop in Israel by themselves. They had many "religious" Jews aiding them. It took time, it took effort, and it took creativity. And today, we have a missionary nightmare in the Shomron. Educate yourselves. Find out who brought them in?
